Book of Kells, Trinity College
Dublin is a city of museums and culture, a place where a person can openly enjoy Ireland’s history and creative endeavours. Top of the list of places to visit has to be Trinity College where the Book of Kells is beautifully displayed in the Old Library. Written around 800 AD, the Book of Kells is an illuminated manuscript that contains the four Gospels together with other writings and commentary. Written on vellum in Latin, the 
manuscript was given to Trinity College in the 17th century.
